Here in Michigan, it has been cold and snowy. To cozy up and hibernate this winter, I have been making hearty and healthy White Turkey Chili. This recipe is super easy to make and truly The Best White Turkey Chili recipe you will ever make!
White Turkey Chili is incredibly easy to whip up and has minimal chopping and dishes. I like sneaking in vegetables in dishes wherever I can. Zucchini is a delicious addition in this this recipe to pump up the vegetables in the meal.

I’m a huge fan of toppings on chili, they are definitely my favorite part of any meal. The more toppings the better! I have listed some topping ideas that are delicious with this White Turkey Chili:
- Sour cream (you can also substitute unsweetened Greek yogurt for sour cream as a healthy alternative)
- Tortilla Chips
- Cilantro
- Shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack Cheese
- Sliced fresh or pickled jalapenos

The Best White Turkey Chili Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 tbsp oil
- 1 lb ground turkey or chicken, 93% lean
- 1 medium zucchini, diced
- 1/2 jalapeno, deseeded and diced
- 4 oz can of diced, mild green chilies
- 2 cans white beans, grained and rinsed I used cannellini beans
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth low sodium, or no salt added
- Optional toppings: sour cream, tortilla chips, jalapenos, cilantro, cheese
Instructions
- In a soup pot, heat oil over medium heat.
- Add ground turkey. Break apart using a spoon or spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.
- Add zucchini, jalapeno, green chilies, coriander, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook 5 minutes, until the zucchini is starting to brown.
- Add beans and broth. Simmer, uncovered, over medium-low heat for 25-30 minutes. Stir occasionally. The chili will be done when thickened and the zucchini is soft.
- Taste for salt and pepper.
- Serve with desired toppings.
