Honey Chipotle Salmon Tacos are super easy to make and packed full of flavor! To make these tacos, salmon is slathered in chipotle and honey and roasted in the oven at a high temperature. I keep the tacos simple with just the honey chipotle salmon, a quick guacamole and microgreens. This recipe will sure to be a staple in your house for a quick and satisfying dinner.
Main Ingredients
To make these tacos you will only need a few key ingredients:
- Salmon
- Chipotle Chile Powder
- Honey
- Avocado
- Cilantro
- Corn Tortillas (You can substitute flour tortillas if that is your preference.)
- Shredded Lettuce or Micro Greens – (I used pea shoots because that is what I had on hand)
How to make Honey Chipotle Salmon Tacos
These tacos are ridiculously easy to make, perfect for a busy weeknight.
To start, salmon is roasted in the oven with chipotle chile powder and honey.
In the meantime, while the salmon is cooking I make a quick guacamole. To do this, I simply put avocado, lime, cilantro, olive oil and cumin in a bowl and mash them all together. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Finally, assemble the tacos! I do this by putting pieces of flaked salmon on corn tortillas with a dollop of guacamole and shredded lettuce or micro greens.
This is one of my favorite recipes to make, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
